Frequently Asked Questions

What is the size and thickness of a standard plastic card?

Standard card size is 85.5mm x 54mm with rounded corners and a thickness of .76mm, the same as a Credit Card. Various shapes and sizes are also available with thicknesses from .3mm, .5mm, 1mm and 1.5mm.

Will your cards work with my POS system?

Yes. Most systems nowadays will read and write all types of magnetic strips or barcodes. Samples of these are available for testing.

Can I provide my own artwork?

Yes you can supply your own artwork. Print ready artwork files need to be supplied in the format specified on our templates. Alternatively, our team of highly talented graphic designers can create custom designs for all types of plastic cards, card holders or point of sale marketing material.

How long will it take to receive my order?

Can I pay for a rush service? Standard turnaround time is 12 to 14 working days. A “rush fee” can be paid to go to the “front of the queue” to have your order turned around in 8 to 10 working days, depending on quantity ordered.

How can I send it to you?

We recommend using a free online service such as wetransfer.com, send space or creating a folder in Dropbox to send us your artwork.

What are plastic cards made from? Is there an environmentally friendly options?

Our plastic cards are made from PVC plastic. ABS Recycled and PETG (biodegradable and recyclable) cards are available at an additional cost.

Do you provide a mailing service?

Yes. We can handle your full campaign from design to postage!

Do you charge delivery?

Delivery is FREE to Australian Capital Cities. There may be an additional charge for “out of area” locations.

Can you use the logo and images from my website?

We can try but we don't recommend it! Generally, logos and images used on the web have been compressed to a minimum to reduce the load time of web pages. This means that the graphics are low in quality and if printed result in blurry and often pixilated images. It is always best to use hi resolution images for the best result.

Can you send me some plastic card samples to see your quality and finishes available?

We are happy to send out sample packs with a range of cards similar to what you are thinking of getting printed. Contact us to discuss your requirements today.

When is payment due?

Payment is required prior to print-production. Your order cannot be cancelled once artwork has been sent to production.
