You have full control over the value of your gift cards. The amount can be pre-printed as part of the design or written on the provided writing panel at the time of purchase. A receipt is typically issued as proof of purchase.

Using Your Cards with a POS System
If you use a Point of Sale (POS) system, you can integrate your cards to streamline transactions. Most POS systems allow scanning or manual entry of barcodes or serial numbers. Before ordering, check with your POS provider to determine whether a high-coercivity (HI CO) or low-coercivity (LO CO) magnetic strip, barcode, QR code, or simple numbering is best for your needs. We can also provide a document with the three main barcode types for testing.
Manual Tracking Option
If you do not use a POS system, you can track your cards manually. Ensure each card has a unique number and a writing panel for recording details. You should maintain a list of issued cards and track redemptions accordingly.
Gift Card Expiry
There are laws in regard to gift card expiry dates that came into place Australia wide as of 1st November 2019, it is now mandatory for all gift cards to have a 3 year expiry date and the expiry or issue date must be shown on the card. More details can be found here.
Gift Card Limitations
Our gift cards are not EFTPOS or credit cards and cannot be used outside your business. They are custom-designed and branded specifically for you. While we can add a magnetic strip for encoding, most of our clients opt for barcodes or manual tracking. These cards do not require a PIN and cannot be processed through an EFTPOS machine.
