Variable data, such as membership names, photos, numbers and contact information can be thermally printed over the plastic card. Printing can be in white, black, red, green or blue ink or even in silver or gold. Thermal printing can be printed on gloss or matt cards or cards with a UV coating.
A printed coloured plastic card must be laminated for overprinting. If printing on a white card or white section of a card it doesn’t need to be laminated.
