When selecting Supply Print Ready Artwork, you confirm that your file meets our artwork specifications (see Download Template). If you choose the Fix Supplied Artwork service, please note this applies to editable files only (e.g. vector or layered files). We are unable to edit AI-generated or flat image files (such as JPEGs or PNGs). If these file types are supplied, your order may incur additional design fees or may not be accepted.

Dieline / Template

Dielines are used to assist graphic designers prepare artwork for any print jobs that require die cutting. Dielines aren’t printed, and should be placed on a separate layer in the design file. They’re mainly used to assist designers setting up the artwork and placement of design elements.

Bleed

Bleed refers to the artwork that extends beyond the finished size (or trim). If there are elements in your design that you want to be printed at the edge of your plastic card, then the element should be extended past the trim line and into the bleed area. For most our plastic and paper printing products, we suggest a 3mm bleed.

Type

Our plastic card order allows you to choose between 3 types of plastic cards: gloss, matt and frosted. Please contact us for orders and pricing for other plastic card types (including recycled, black core and more).

1. Choose your card material, finish and quantity. The higher the QTY ordered, the more cost-effective cards become. Add variable data if required and optional embellishments.

Looking for something different, quantities under 250 or over 1000? Then request a quote through our online card builder or website contact form.

2a. If you have print-ready files that have been created by a graphic designer, select Supply Print Ready Artwork and upload at time of order or email once order is placed. If artwork has been created in CANVA or needs a little more work, select Fix Supplied Artwork. Additional charges may apply if artwork supplied is not print ready.

2b. If you need our team of professionals to help create your design, select Design Artwork For Me, upload logo files (.eps, .ai or high-res PDF) to the order and we’ll get to work, collaborating with you until the design is exactly what you’re after.

2c. If you have ordered from us before and would like to reprint your previous artwork, select Reprint Previous Artwork.

3. Add to cart and fill out billing and shipping details. Don’t forget to check out our range of Card Holders to complement your Plastic Card.

4. Once the order has been placed, we’ll be in touch to confirm variable data requirements followed by a proof for approval. If we’re creating the artwork for you, our designers will send an artwork draft for approval before proceeding to proofing stage. Once proof is approved, turnaround time is typically 12 – 14 business days.

5. Once your order is complete, we’ll dispatch it and email you the tracking details for reference.

Product Options

Writing Panel

Incorporate writing panels that allow you to easily write on the card without the text smearing or wiping off. A popular addition for plastic cards.

Variable Data

Variable data, such as membership names, photos, numbers and contact information can be thermally printed over the plastic card.

Spot UV

Need to elevate your business cards? Add contrast and highlight elements in your design by adding a Spot UV gloss effect to leave a lasting impression.

Scratch-Off Panel

Increase customer engagement with your plastic card using a scratch-off panel. Looking for a great idea for your next promotion? Scratch off panels are a fantastic way to add a bit of excitement to your promotional plastic card.

QR Code

Incorporating a QR code to your plastic card can increase customer engagement and be a useful tool in collecting and tracking customer behaviour.

Overprinting

Overprinting is where information is printed on a pre-printed plastic card. It is commonly used for ID or Membership Cards, where variable data, such as names or membership numbers are printed on the cards and issued as required.

Barcoding

Barcodes are an inexpensive way of collecting, verifying and tracking data and can easily be incorporated onto your plastic card.

Black Core

For an ultra sleek look, try our black core plastic card stock. A premium Black Core replaces the white edge visible on PVC Cards with a sleek black edge, giving that extra touch of elegance to your

Embossing

Embossing is used to apply machine-readable characters onto plastic cards. Text is stamped into the back of the card and appears raised on the front side, like you would see an account number on a credit card.

Foiling

Foiling or foil stamping is a special overprint finish which can be used on paper or plastic. It provides a striking finish on areas of your design.

Full Face Foil

Full Face Foil adds a dramatic holographic shine to your plastic card design. In the light, a stunning spectrum of light is reflected from underneath the print, making it an eye-catching way to make your plastic stand out from the crowd!

Hole & Slot Punch

Standard size Hole and Slot Punches can be incorporated into most of our plastic card shapes and sizes for very little added cost.

Magnetic Strips

Magnetic Strips are a popular addition for many types of plastic cards. A unique serial number is encoded into the strip using magnetic energy which integrates with your POS or access system.

Matt

A premium and non-reflective finish. Especially effective when used in combination with UV Spot Gloss or Foiling.

Metallic

Metallic plastic cards are a striking option for Gift Cards, VIP and Business Cards alike. The smooth coating provides a subtle sparkling finish that levels up a standard card.

Numbering

An alternative to barcodes or magnetic strips. Adding a sequential or randomly generated numbering system to your plastic card is a cost effective way of being able to track their use.
